The X-Lock quick-change system is a game-changing system for angle grinders that allows users to swap and interchange accessories in just 3 seconds and is completely tool free.
Developed by Bosch, X-Lock is designed to make work faster and simpler by minimising the time spent swapping out accessories onsite.
The design is simple, X-Lock-specific grinders feature a single click-mount release lever ensuring that the accessory is reliably installed on the tool –without the use of a flange, nut or key.
To change the accessory over, simply pull up the lever mechanism on your X-Lock-specific grinder system to unlock.
To take full advantage of the benefits and the ability to quick-change accessories, users will need a specially designed X-Lock grinder. However, most X-Lock accessories are compatible and can be used on all 115-125mm conventional grinders.
X-Lock is perfect for medium to heavy industry professionals where safety is heavily regulated. The X-Lock mechanism is locked when the grinder is turned on, removing any risk of the accessory accidentally being released from the grinder.
